ABOUT US: WELCOME TO MOUNTAIN LODGE

Welcome to Mountain Lodge.  We are a constituted masonic lodge under the jurisdiction of The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania located in Altoona, PA.

Mountain Lodge has had a strong history and reputation of being a community contributing organization in central Pennsylvania since our warrant was issued on September 5th, 1853.

With a membership of over 400 brethren, Mountain Lodge is a very active fraternity within our community.  Each year we host a number of community service events around our area.  These events include blood drives, CHIP events, and Big Brother / Big Sister mentor events at local bowling alleys, ice skating rinks, baseball ballparks, amusement parks, and the Jaffa Shrine Circus.

We are constantly seeking new members who meet our requirements in assisting us in our activities in supporting our community.  If you are seeking a local organization who supports our community in various ways, we would enjoy the opportunity of speaking with you in order to see if Freemasonry is an appropriate path for you.

Mountain Lodge members also support other appendant bodies of Freemasonry.  Many of our members belong to organizations such as the Shriners, Scottish Rite and York Rite bodies, and Tall Cedars.  We also work closely with many of the women's organizations such as the Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and the Ladies Oriental Shrine; as well as masonic youth organizations such as DeMolay, Order of Rainbow Girls, and Job's Daughters.

If we are an organization you would like to become a member of or work even with. please contact our Secretary at: secy0281@pagrandlodge.org
